## Who operates this site

RobbenIslandTours.com is an independent travel information website operated by Jan Pretorius in Cape Town, South Africa. It is not operated by Robben Island Museum, GetYourGuide or an activity provider.

## Information collected when you visit

Google Analytics 4 runs on the public website. It helps us understand visits and interactions, including which pages are viewed and whether ticket links are selected. Google may process browser, device, usage and online identifier information, including cookies or similar technologies, to provide its analytics service.

Firebase Hosting serves this website. Google may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and help detect abuse. We do not provide a contact form, visitor account or on-site checkout.

Read Google’s Privacy Policy, its information about cookies and similar technologies, and Firebase privacy information.

## Affiliate links and GetYourGuide

GetYourGuide affiliate links and its partner script are used to attribute referrals and support affiliate reporting. The script or links may use cookies or similar technologies and may send information such as the referring page, link selection, browser or device details to GetYourGuide. If you follow a link, GetYourGuide and the relevant activity provider handle the booking under their own privacy notices and terms. We may earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you.

Review GetYourGuide’s Privacy Policy before booking. We do not receive or process your payment details through this website.

## Messages and retention

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to reply and keep the correspondence as needed to handle your request and meet applicable obligations. Please do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your enquiry.

Analytics and hosting information is retained by the relevant service according to its settings and policies. We do not set a fixed retention period for those services in this notice.

## Cookies and your choices

Google Analytics and affiliate attribution technologies may use cookies or similar browser storage. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect measurement or referral attribution. When you leave this site for GetYourGuide or another external site, that site’s privacy and cookie controls apply.

## Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or an objection to the use of your personal information. Contact tours@robbenislandtours.com to make a request. You may also contact South Africa’s Information Regulator.
